Sony Minidisc C13 Error Repair Not Reading Discs Sony MDS-JE330

I picked this Sony minidisc player up at a car boot sale for £17.50 and was told by the seller that it was working. When I tested it the error code C13 was displayed on the screen and it wouldn't read any discs. Let's strip this one down and see what the problem is.

I'm not sure if it was the laser or whether the sled was stuck where it hadn't been used for a while. Not sure on this one.
