Botch live concert Sydney Australia 2024 drumcam

Getting the opportunity to travel to Australia (first time for two of us), was...amazing. If you follow the band or I on IG, you likely saw some of the fun adventures we got into. Certainly, getting to feed kangaroos and hold a koala bear at a nature park outside of Adelaide was an absolute highlight.

The entire tour went off without a hitch, honestly. For this Sydney show, we initially had two nights booked, but needed to pare down to just one on Saturday. We flew in from Brisbane Friday morning, checked in to our hotel and had time to explore the city a bit that evening and the following morning. Those of you who have read some of these summaries previously likely remember that my family has trekked along to some of the far reaching places Botch traveled to, and for Australia, my wife was able to come down and spend some quality time and catch Botch on the third continent she'd see us on in 3 months.

The club we played at is on a college campus. It's really a great venue with awesome sound and an accommodating staff. The show went great, it was probably my favorite of the shows, partially because it was the sixth and we were playing our tightest by that point, but also because the lack of a crowd barrier allowed for more interaction.
