North Philadelphia station in the 1990's

Описание к видео North Philadelphia station in the 1990's

North Philadelphia station is on Amtrak's former PRR Northeast Corridor, north of ZOO tower. This station was the Philadelphia stop for the PRR's famed "Blue Ribbon Fleet" including the "Broadway Limited". Now just a Septa stop on North Broad st, the station was allowed to deteriorate in later years as did the surrounding neighborhood. The Chestnut Hill West branch leaves the mainline at still active North Philadelphia Tower when these scenes were filmed in the early to mid 1990's. You will see Amtrak NE corridor trains, Atlantic City trains, Septa locals, Conrail freights and 2 NJT Atlantic city trains.
