Inner Flame: A Comb Wrecked Rainbow Ring Pour! Bright and Happy Colors with Gorgeous Lines!

Comb Wrecked Ring Pour Rainbow Colors Acrylic Pour Painting Fluid Art

Hello Friends!
I wanted to wish you all a very Happy Easter and Happy Passover! Happy Spring!! There are so many beautiful colors blooming right now, it made me want to paint a rainbow! 🌈
I was playing with my new comb(!!!) last night and came up with a really pretty pattern that I want to try on a bigger canvas today..
I'm using a 24x30 inch gallery wrapped canvas from Artists Loft today. I have taped the back side of the frame and put my Giant PushPins in the corners.. we are ready to go!

My Colors today are:
Liquitex Basics
- Cadmium Red Deep Hue
- Cadmium Orange Hue
- Ultramarine Blue
- Dioxizine Purple
Artist's Loft
- Naples Yellow
DecoArt Americana Decor
Metallics
- 24K Gold
Satin Enamels
- Pure White with some
Artist's Loft
- Flow Acrylic White
Pebeo Studio Acrylics
- Blue Green

My Pouring Medium is:
Liquitex Gloss Medium & Varnish
Paint + a bit of Water
Floetrol

I did not want to add Green to this pour, I'm using Gold instead (lol it starts with G haha)..

I layer my cup carefully down the side, staying in that ROYGBIV pattern, but I start with my Violet (Dioxize Purple) then, Blue, then Blue Green, Gold, Yellow, Orange, and Red then I repeat. I pour that cup in a beautiful ring pour, then add another 5 or 6 ounces of paint to my cup and pour it in the center of the existing pour, again in a ring pour.

I use the smallest comb and wreck the pour, then use the comb to repeat the pattern across the entire pour. It looks so cool!!

I tilted it to cover the canvas, then focus on my composition. I see a Flame in rainbow colors.. and it made me think about that spark that ignites our passions, our creativity. I thought about how important it is to nurture that Inner Flame inside each of us, in our children, even in our parents and friends.

I feel I have been so blessed to have all of you on this journey with me.. your enthusiasm and encouragement have helped me push myself to create and experiment and to grow as an artist. I am so thankful for the support you all provide in fanning my Inner Flame.

LOVE! Love is limitless. It was a thought that he did not think mankind was ready for yet, back in 1938.. but maybe we are ready for it now.

I think about all of you, and I pray for your good health and safety. Together, with a positive attitude and some common sense, we will get thru this crazy period of history, and emerge stronger and smarter than before.
