Learn gentle movements to relieve chronic back pain or tight muscles through this guided movement lesson based on the Feldenkrais Method®. Use a couch or bench for sliding one leg in a small, gentle movement to improve alignment and ease of legs in hip joints and improve lower back coordination with legs. While this lesson is a bit longer than my other lessons, these are very relaxing movements for back and hips and long-lasting! This gentle lesson can be very helpful for healing whiplash, falls, sacrum injury, back strain, spasm, disc injury, hip joint problems (though be careful with hypermobility of spine in getting down to the floor and up again-- work with a professional).

Be extra careful coming up from the floor-- take time to move slowly. If you have a disc injury, this lesson can be helpful but proceed carefully. These are meant to be done with awareness and not with the gusto of strengthening exercises-- but of aligning your back and hips.
