Oldest And Historical Satghara Rest House (Bangla) In Bhalwal Of District Sargodha

In this video we will show you 122 years old Rest House which was constructed in 1902 during the British Era. A well, offices, stable of horse’s, hospital and a canal were constructed here at that time which are also present today but unfortunately they have been deserted and presenting the view of ruins while the canal is running with full effect. In British Era many rest houses were constructed on the bank of the canals which had their own importance due to their architecture. Vegetables and fruits had been grown across these rest houses and made farm houses of animals. The hospitality of guests did with these vegetables, fruits, milk,eggs and meat. There were constructed five water mills (Pun Chakian) from which one is in running condition till now and remaining four water mills have been destroyed. These water mills (pin mills) are not in working position. The name of this Rest House was kept “Satghara” by English’s In British Era. The name of this Rest House related of which seven houses who are the seven houses and where are they? This is an interesting story. We will tell you the history of this Rest House in this video. This Rest House has become deserted now due to the lack of interest of the different Governments. The renovation of this Rest House did in 1997 last time. There is a Mosque and a small garden is also present here. Different types of trees present a beautiful and charming view. This is a very beautiful and lush green village which has a fertile land. Many types of vegetables and fruits tress grow here. The drinking water of this village is sweet, clean and pure. People come here to this canal and catch fishes this is a good place for fishing. This is also a picnic point for local people. The atmosphere of this village is very healthy which attract the people. Different types of wild animals in which snakes, scorpions and fitchews find here in large numbers. If you love with historical places and want to visit this beautiful Satghara Rest House than you should must come here. This is a peaceful place and people of this area are very loving and friendliness. In fact this is a peaceful and historical place and people who come here lost into the past. They feel comfort here and especially the noises and voices of the birds who settled here present the fascinating scene. In the last I will request to the Government of Pakistan to look after this precious asset and save this from the further damage. If we do not protect our precious assets than the coming generation will not forgive us.
