The Marine Gardens,Fleetwood in Wyre,held the official opening ,after a 2 year improvement project costing £1m on Saturday 22nd Sept 2012 performed by Doreen Lofthouse from the Fleetwood family makers of the world famous Fishermans Friends lozenge products.
The Batala dumming band from Lancaster and George Orange on his moon rig were just a few ot those who provided entertainment during the day.The Garden
improvments are part of the Sea Change project with Wyre Council.on the mythic coast,between Fleetwood and Cleveleys based on The Sea Swallow Story by author Gareth Thompson seen in the video signing his book . Award winning artist.Hannah Magee is the book,s illustrator.
