At 20 weeks pregnant, Lisa received the devastating news that she had a cancerous tumour on her cervix. Lisa and her partner were faced with an overwhelming decision; terminate the pregnancy and have the tumour removed, or undergo chemotherapy at the risk of the treatment not responding.
Making a truly courageous decision, Lisa and her partner Charlton decided to keep the baby and begin treatment at the Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick. This is their story.
