Описание к видео SSFII Turbo Revival [GBA] - play as Shin Akuma

This is a play-through using Shin Akuma in the GBA game Super Street Fighter II Turbo: Revival. Read on below for more information...

Shin Akuma is a hidden final boss who can be fought against providing that certain conditions are met before you reach M.Bison in Arcade mode on single-player. He is a hidden playable character in this game.

===== HOW TO UNLOCK SHIN AKUMA =====

Get 9999 VS points. After you've done that, he'll be available on the character select screen to the right of the top row of characters.

===== ABOUT SHIN AKUMA =====

He is the more powerful version of Akuma, also known as True Akuma or True Devil. Storyline-wise, this is the form Akuma becomes when he becomes almost one with the Satsui no Hado power. In short, this is basically him fighting at full strength without holding back.

===== ABOUT SSF2TR AKUMA =====

In SSF2TR, Akuma is a bit of a special case... because it's the first time that he has been converted into a "16-bit" character. Despite the Game Boy Advance being a 32-bit handheld, all the other character's sprites are taken from the SNES version of SSF2. As there is no 16-bit Akuma, his sprites were taken from the Arcade SSF2T and had to be adjusted specially for Revival, which is why his sprites don't "match" Ryu's and Ken's. Here is the information on him regarding his Revival appearance:

---- It is the first time that his SSF2T self has new colour palettes.

---- It is the first time that a SSF2T Akuma enters the SFII Bonus Stages (Car and Falling Barrels).

---- He has a backwards walking animation, something that Ryu and Ken doesn't have in the game.

---- In general, he actually has more animation frames than Ryu and Ken. One example is his neutral stance.

---- His winning screen image is the same one as regular Akuma's.

---- His sprites are the "wrong size" when compared to Ryu and Ken's sprites.

---- He has the Raging Demon as his Super Combo. He didn't have this in most versions of SSF2T.

---- He has his own voice.

---- Shin Akuma has a complete different set of colour palettes to normal Akuma.

---- Some of his colour palettes are based on his colours from other Street Fighter games.

---- On the character select screen, when his icon is highlighted, he has yellow eyes and hair unlike normal Akuma.

---- He has the same character select and versus screen portrait image as normal Akuma.

---- His default colour palette (the one in the video) is based on the default Shin Akuma colours from SFA2 and the non-vanilla-SFA3s.

===== ABOUT SSF2T REVIVAL =====

This is a special version of SSF2T made specially for the Game Boy Advance. It has new features, modes and interface, as well as new illustrations/images for character portraits and endings.

In gameplay, the character's sprites seem to be taken from the 16-bit SNES version of SSF2 with the exception of Akuma and Shin Akuma. SSF2T-specific moves/animations have also been converted for use in Revival too.

It should also be noted that the USA version of this game contains a load of bugs and glitches, one example being the infamous Akuma glitch where the game crashes if you fulfill the conditions to reach CPU Akuma at the end in single-player Arcade mode.
