In these Screen Gems outtakes, former president Harry S. Truman discusses the complicated situation he faced in China and Korea. He talks about General MacArthur's landing at Inchon, the division of Korea on the 38th parallel, the role that Russian influence played in the occupation of the region, and says that Korea should not be divided. He says no one knew what China would do, and didn't want to push the Russians into battle. He also tells the story of General Enoch Crowder of the Philippine War saying he thought he’d met the most egotistical and self-centered gentleman he’d ever met in General Arthur MacArthur until he met his son, General Douglas MacArthur.
