President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and President Halimah Yacob raise a toast to honor the enduring friendship between the Philippines and Singapore in a State Luncheon at the Istana on September 7, 2022.

In their messages, the two Presidents express their optimism to foster stronger bilateral ties as both are founding members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

In 2021, Singapore ranked as the Philippines’ 6th major trading partner. Philippine exports to Singapore has increased by 11.15% from US$3.77 billion in 2020 to US$4.20 billion in 2021. Likewise, Philippine imports from Singapore expanded by 23.58% from US$5.62 billion in 2020 to US$6.95 billion in 2021.
