Kodo millet idli and dosa with udad dal flour and millets .

Ingredients:

1 cup kodo millets. , washed several times .
1/2 tsp methi seeds wash and soak with millets .
Add little more than 1/2 cup udad dal flour ( store bought)
Add 1/4 cup millet poha or normal poha if you wish for extra soft idli dosa , ( I have not added though . )

Method :

Wash and soak millets for 8 hours
Grind millets and methi to a smooth batter . Add 1/2 cup udad dal flour .
Blend batter again to remove lumps , adjust consistency by adding little water if needed .
Ferment batter overnight or 8-10 hours.
Add salt after batter has fermented . Mix well , prepare idlis or dosa after diluting batter if needed for dosa .
