This gentle song is fairly unremarkable, with lyrics which are somewhat contrived and hardly inventive. But I love it. It was one of only 2 songs recorded at a session which produced the title song for the western "Charro!", filmed in 1968. It is a bit of a strange one as I cannot for a moment see how it could have fitted into that non-musical film. The song was originally released on the "Let's Be Friends" budget LP in 1970. My recording was made on 15 July 2024 in the original key of C. Video length 3 mins 16 secs.
