Brewing a Classic Competition Coffee Ratio with the Lili Ceramic Dripper | Coffee with April

This week, we're experimenting with a classic competition ratio, testing the capabilities of the Lili Ceramic Dripper.

More commonly found in Asia, the Lili Ceramic Dripper is a flatbed brewer made from thick and sturdy Kaolin clay. This heavy and high-quality dripper is capable of retaining heat well and displays excellent temperature stability. The 48 channels on the sides of the dripper, as well as the 8 x 2mm holes, help to accelerate the speed of your brews and also appear to be beneficial to evenness.

You can replicate the recipe featured in this video by using the following guidelines:

16g - 240g
88°C Water
100g Circle Pour - 0:00 - 0:10
100g Circle Pour - 0:30 - 0:40
40g Center Pour - 1:10 - 1:20
Total Brew Time - 3:00

We used a Commandante grinder, on a medium/fine grind setting for this brew. We suggest a grind range on Commandante set between 28-29 clicks.
