I picked up rough Marvin watch caliber 776 for $5 on Ebay. It's actually an ETA 2522

Marvin is a Swiss watch brand that dates back to the 1850’s. In 1895 Henri-Albert took over the management and the American Pocket Watch market became their main focus.
They built relationships with many car companies including Ferrari, Mercedes, Jaguar, Fiat, MG, Rover and Chevrolet which no doubt inspired the iconic “Tire Watch”, a keychain watch in the shape of an automobile tire.
By 1976, the firm became part of the MSR Group, along with Revue Thommen and Vulcain but even then Marvin did not succeed in making a transition to quartz and the brand was abandoned by the 1980s.
The brand was re-launched in 2007 as a maker of midrange luxury watches and were powered by ETA and Valjoux movements.
Since 2015, Marvin has been focused on Asian markets, especially China.
The movement inside is marked Caliber 776 but it’s actually an ETA 2522.
