Handcuffs May Be Taken Off Kouri Richins’ Wrists During Accused Killer’s High-Profile Hearing

The judge presiding over the trial for Kouri Richins will consider whether or not the accused killer will be handcuffed during a high-profile hearing next week. Richins’ defense said she needs to be able to write to her attorneys during the pre-trial hearing and the handcuffs constrict her from doing so; they’re also allegedly painful to wear. The Utah mom is accused of poisoning her husband by mixing a lethal dose of fentanyl with a cocktail.
