FFXI - How to Make an Empyrean Harp or Shield

In this guide I show you how to build an Empyrean Harp (Daurdabla) or Shield (Ochain). Both of these items are extremely strong. The Harp gives BRD the ability to use 4 songs. The shield gives PLD the highest possible block rate in the game and returns huge amounts of MP.

These are both done through the Magian Trial process like Empyrean weapons, but they use a slightly different path and are actually a bit easier to obtain.
