Emerson Hart wrote this song for Tonic. It was released in 1997 and reached #11 on the BillBoard Hot 100. When I heard this song for the first time, I thought man this dude is singing to his wife or girlfriend about another woman......well that was wrong. He wrote the song after a phone conversation he had with him Mom. He told her he was falling for an older woman and his Mom was telling him she was all wrong for him. He later said "Mom was right, we broke up after a few years." I guess Mom's know best.
