RIDE SUMMARY: This video coves the eight days I spent cycling from Exmouth to Karijini National Park in Western Australia, and exploring this amazing paradise by bicycle and on foot. Within the Park, I based myself at the Karijini Eco Retreat and Dales Gorge Campground. Whilst depicting a continuous sequence of events, the footage was captured over multiple days at various locations within the Park.

KARIJINI NATIONAL PARK: The traditional home of the Banyjima, Kurrama and Innawonga Aboriginal people, Western Australia's second largest national park is most famous for its stunning geological formations which offer hikers a range of beautiful gorges, waterfalls and water holes to explore. Being located in the ancient Pilbara region, the land on which you walk is over 2,500 million years old, providing a rare opportunity to experience an ancient landscape nearly 40 times older than the dinosaurs. Accommodation within the Park is available at two campgrounds, one of which is privately operated, the other being managed by the WA Department of Parks and Wildlife. Being self-sufficient within the Park means carrying camping gear and any food required (there are no shops).
