We explored New Zealand’s first capital - Russell. This township was once called the “Hell Hole of the Pacific” because it was previously a lawless and rowdy port. But it is now a charming and quite a lovely town to visit.

Russell has some of New Zealand’s oldest and most significant historic buildings up to this date. Just like the Christ Church, Pompallier Mission and Printery, and The Duke of Marlborough.

We also visited the historical site of Flagstaff Hill, walked the Tapeka Point Track, and lastly, took a dip at Long Beach.
