Today we’re going to be looking at the wines that command the highest prices and the highest prestige on the market coming from the left bank and to what makes them special.

Next week we’ll talk about the left bank and the 1855 classification before talking about sweet wines from Sauternes and other rarities from around the Bordeaux region. Here focus for now on Pomerol & Saint-Emilion specifically.
