Somerset & South Wales (20-07-2021)

A very busy and very long day around the Bristol area predominantly. We start at Wickwar Tunnel where we have an XC HST and a DB Cargo Class 60, we then head west into South Wales and briefly stop at Magor before heading to Bishton Crossing to see Class 317, 317891, being dragged to Sims Metals of Newport by Class 37, 37800. We then head back into England and see another XC HST at Ram Hill before seeing another Class 60, this time at Patchway.

We then focus our attention on the Bristol to Taunton Castle HST workings at Chelvey (between Nailsea and Yatton), Yatton Station, Hewish (between Yatton & Worle) and then our last HST is seen passing ths small station of Weston Milton.

We then conclude with a Class 158 at Bridgwater, working from Penzance to Bristol Temple Meads.
