This is the second in my series of instruction videos dealing with some of the basics of playing the fretless bass. Expanding on the first lessons, here I talk some about using various intervals to train your hands and ears for playing in tune -- thirds, fourths and sixths.

The bass in this video has a mahogany body, maple neck, cocobolo fingerboard and a single passive Nordstrand MM5.2 pickup, hardwired in parallel. The strings are more than 3 years old.

The amp, a MarKBass Cube, is not mine.
