Water Cycle | Evaporation - Condensation - Precipitation - Collection |

Описание к видео Water Cycle | Evaporation - Condensation - Precipitation - Collection |

Water Cycle
• Earth's surface is covered by 71% of water.
• It is the process of continuous movement of water within the earth and atmosphere.

The four major steps
1. Evaporation
2. Condensation
3. Precipitation
4. Collection

1) Evaporation - Evaporation occurs when water is heated by the sun, it changes from liquid to water vapour.
Transpiration - Loss of water from plants

Example's for evaporation
1. Cooling of hot liquids
2. Cooking - Water which on boiling evaporates

2) Condensation - condensation occurs when water vapor changes back to water. The liquid collects in the clouds.

3) Precipitation - Precipitation occurs when water falls back to earth. This can happen in the form of rain, hail, sleet and snow.

4) Collection

Why does it matter?
The water cycle is important because it moves nutrients around and provides plants, animals and humans with water.
