Chapter 72: The Lesser Pilgrimage and its Aftermath (Part 1)
1. Prophet SAW prepares to go for lesser pilgrimage after 1 year of Hudaybiyah treaty.
2. Abdul rahman RA also know as Abu Hayrayrah RA, father of kittens joins and is made to take care of part of the sacrificial animals.
3. Quraysh retreat to the hills to allow Muslims to enter. They hear Labbayk Allahuma labayk and see men in white cloaks and shaved heads perform the pilgrimage: 7 rounds around the Ka’bah and 7 runs between Safa and Marwah led by Prophet SAW, after which sacrifice of animals and shaving off the heads is done.
4. Prophet SAW asks Bilal RA to give Adhaan from the top of Ka’bah
5. Prophet SAW marries Maymunah RA. He therefore also becomes the uncle of Khalid bin Walid RA by marriage.
6. Quraysh ask muslims to leave as soon as 3 day mark is over, and Prophet SAW agrees. They take Umarah bint Hamzah RA along with them.
7. Umarah bint Hamzah RA lodged with Jafar RA, because her maternal aunt is his wife, and they are likened to mothers.
