QUANTUM SPHERE - Generative Ambient Eurorack (Oxi One // Qu-Bit Nautilus // Disting EX // MI Rings)

Описание к видео QUANTUM SPHERE - Generative Ambient Eurorack (Oxi One // Qu-Bit Nautilus // Disting EX // MI Rings)

I am pleased to release my next patch. I had a lot of fun putting it together.
After some waiting time, the OXI One has finally arrived. I also got a Qu-Bit Nautilus and a second Rings (Rangoon). The system feels rounder from time to time.

Patch notes:

Simple melody:

The repeating melody is sequenced by the Oxi One in stochastic mode. At the beginning the pitch and rhythm are modulated, then the Oxi One switches to a pattern in which the pitch and rhythm modulation are set to 0, resulting in the repetitive melody. Sequenced is a Mutabele Instruments Rings, which first goes into a Shakmat Dual Dagger Filter and then into the Qu-Bit Nautilus with two delay lines, 50% wet. The Nautilus is filtered again by a second Dual Dagger and then goes into the 1010music Bluebox.

Rings Structure and Brightness are modulated by a relatively fast LFO from Xaoc Devices Batumi. Another slow LFO from Batumi modulates the LPF of the Dual Dagger, into which Rings goes directly.

Distorted fade-in:

The audio from the filtered ring is multed and goes into the Qu Bit Data Bender, which goes into a third Dual Dagger to filter out low and low-mids. From there it goes into the Bluebox.

The data bender is in micro mode. Its bend is modulated by Mutable Instruments stages to send it continuously through three different octaves. In addition, the Corrupt Value (Distroy mode) is modulated by a three-minute long curve, which ensures that it fades in and sounds increasingly distorted during this time interval. The Data Bender goes directly into the Bluebox. There, the panning is modulated with the random output of my Doepfer A118 2.

Drone/Bass

The drone is generated by the Dream Machine of the Disting Ex in single mode. It goes directly into the Bluebox.

Sparkel

The Oxi sends another simple sequence to the Intellijel Plonk, on which I have programmed a MArimbaish sound. The sequence is pitch modulated by an internal LFO of the Oxi. The audio from the Plonk is modulated and goes once into the 4ms dual looping delay, which is set to 50% wet. The Looping Delay is regularly triggered by a clock divider, which triggers the reverse mode. The Delay goes into the Bluebox where the panning is modulated by the sample & hold out from the Doepfer A118 2.

Another copy of the Plonk audio goes into the Strymon Magneto, which is in shift mode. The various playheads are distributed in the stereo field. It is also set to 0% wet and regularly receives a gate signal that raises the wet value. The magneto goes into the Bluebox.

Noise Sweeps

Mutable Instruments Marbels sequences another ring with a noise signal going into its input. The noise first passes through a filter and a VCA, both of which are triggered by Marbels to open. From there it goes directly into the Bluebox.

Texture

To get a few light textures in the background, I recorded the noise sweeps once through a strongly modulated Make Noise QPas in the Instruo Arbhar. The recorded sound is pitched up two octaves and goes through the QPas again for simple filtering and then into the Bluebox.

Feedback of any kind is welcome!

I hope you like it!
