బ్రిటిష్ వలస పాలన నాటి చట్టాలను ప్రక్షాళించేలా రూపొందించిన మూడు నూతన నేర న్యాయ చట్టాలు...భారతీయ న్యాయ సంహిత, భారతీయ నాగరిక్ సురక్ష సంహిత, భారతీయ సాక్ష్య అధినియమ్...జులై ఒకటో తేదీ నుంచి అమల్లోకి రానున్నాయి. భారతీయ న్యాయసంహితలోని సెక్షన్-106 సబ్ సెక్షన్-2 అమలును...తాత్కాలికంగా నిలిపివేశారు. "రాజద్రోహం" స్థానంలో "దేశద్రోహం" అనే కొత్త పదాన్ని చేర్చారు.
