Walking Tour of Grand Central Terminal - Including the New LIRR Madison Concourse in 4K - 1/6/2024

With the weather being absolutely frightful the past few weeks, it has been hard to get trackside to catch much railroad action. So to start off 2024, I headed in to Manhattan to check out Grand Central Terminal, and become more acquainted with the newest addition…the Madison Concourse and the new Long Island Rail Road access.

While the service first opened about one year ago, I have only had the opportunity to take the LIRR there once, which was a couple of weeks ago to see the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center. It was convenient arriving on the east side and not having to take the subway, but since I was with others I didn’t have a chance to really explore and check out the new terminal.
