Recipe: Inject your Turkey with a solution made up of...

2 sticks of butter = (1/2 lb.)
1/2 cup water
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
Heat until butter melts (not super hot) then inject!

Rub the outside of the bird with your favorite poultry rub
or Cajun Seasoning......you almost can't use to much!

Deep-Fry the bird at 350 degree in oil until internal temperature
reaches 160 degrees! Let the bird rest for 30 minutes and the internal temperature will reach 165 degrees if not a bit higher.

After we took our Turkey in the house it still climbed up to 170 degrees and stayed there for 20 minutes before lowering.

Carve after the bird has rested for 30 minutes!

You will fight over the crunchy skin! Enjoy!
