Multiple Screen Ergonomic Guidelines: Best Way To Setup 1/ 2 / 3 / 6 Monitors

Описание к видео Multiple Screen Ergonomic Guidelines: Best Way To Setup 1/ 2 / 3 / 6 Monitors

Is it always more ergonomics to work on a multiple screen display? Well, from an ergonomic perspective I'm not 100% sure...

Here, I want to give you simple ergonomic guidelines to find the best desk setup with your multiple monitors.

Let's start with what we know: the human visual field. Then, let's see how several screens can fit into the angles. One screen isn't a a problem... but multiple screen are usually too wide.

When the monitors are wider than the visual field, the result is asymmetric postures or frequent neck rotations, i.e. neck pain.

Let's establish proper guidelines all together, based on a proper ergonomic reasoning:

0:00 visual ergonomic basics
4:09 ergonomic setup with one screen
4:35 dual screen ergonomics
why you shouldn't stack your screens vertically, and why a curved screen is more ergonomic
7:45 how to test your dominant eye
8:18 desk setup with 3 screens
8:33 working with 6 screens
9:08 conclusion
and to organize your breaks from work
