In what turned out to be one of the most memorable championship games in Michigan high school football history, the Chelsea Bulldogs met the Crusaders of Hudsonville Unity Christian in the 2021 MHSAA Division 4 State Championship Game.

Both teams entered the championship game an unbeaten 13-0 on the season, and boasted two of the state's most explosive offenses.

When it was all said and done, the two teams combined for a Finals record 107 points, as Chelsea kicked a field goal as time expired capture their first ever football state championship, 55-52.

The game marked the largest comeback in Championship Game history in Michigan, as the Bulldogs trailed by 28 points in the third quarter, only to come back and win in the final seconds.

Matt Shepard (play-by-play), former University of Michigan quarterback John Wangler (analyst), and Dannie Rogers (reporter) called the game for Bally Sports Detroit.
