The MHSAA Division 1 State Championship game in 2021 saw a first time state champion crowned for the third consecutive year (Davison in 2019, West Bloomfield in 2020). After falling in the semifinals the previous three seasons, the Belleville Tigers captured their first ever state championship in school history, defeating Rochester Adams 55-33 at Ford Field.

Matt Shepard (play-by-play), former Detroit Lions tight end Rob Rubick (analyst), and Brooke Fletcher (reporter) called the game for Bally Sports Detroit.
