Throughout the review I will compare the Idol Pearl with the Idol and IQ Tour Solid. Overall, the Idol Pearl was weaker than than the Idol by 4-2. The Idol Pearl was cleaner but provided more angle on the back end. When the Idol starts to burn up and not retain energy to continue through the pins, the Idol Pearl will be the ball to go to. The Idol Pearl will pick up where the Idol starts to burn up.

When I reviewed the Idol, I compared it to the IQ Tour Solid. The Idol Pearl ended up storing energy more energy than the IQ and would continue better through the pins. The IQ was even throughout the lane but the Idol Pearl was cleaner and more angular.

I can see myself using the Idol Pearl on Medium to Longer Patterns. It won’t be the first ball out of my bag because it would be too clean for the fresh. As I move left and need to create angle, the Idol Pearl will be the ball to combat that condition.
