An elderly Pretoria woman Mama Mary Lwate has perfected the government's concept of Vuku'zenzele which loosely translated means get up and do it for yourself, by starting her own moringa herbal tree farm. Moringa is hugely popular in the townships and villages and is used as a remedy for various ailments. Mama Lwate uses the profits from the farm to fund an Orphanage home that she also founded and runs.
