My annual best of the year awards for physical media releases on both Blu-ray and 4K UHD. As before this is merely my own opinion and limited to discs I myself have purchased and viewed over the past year. I would love to be able to cover every major release but unfortunately like most I couldn't afford to. (Not that I don't try...lol) My interests tend to be focused on classic catalog titles and so that is the focus of these awards as last year's.
Apologies for the extra delay but in addition to international shipping delays and late 2022 UK import releases; I finally jumped into 4K UHD this year which was a gigantic amount of hurdles and new headaches to become accustomed to. Next year's awards should be much closer to the traditional March or so date.
