Let's witness the feast of the discovery of the oldest image of the Virgin Mary in the Philippines. Nuestra Señora de Guia is the first Marian image in the Philippines, discovered by the group of Miguel Lopez de Legazpi in 1571. In this celebration, we commemorated the 453rd anniversary of the discovery of the miraculous image of Mary. Coinciding with the “Flores de Mayo,” the celebration of this feast was colorful and joyful. The solemn celebration is full of traditional activities despite how modern it surrounding is. So come on!
