How to make Bulla Cake

Описание к видео How to make Bulla Cake

Jamaican Bulla cakes are the easiest cake ever 😄 It is hard to ruin it because of its simplicity. There's a wide variety of textures and shapes out there but for the most part they're usually circular and more on the dense side than a light airy birthday cake. They're often eaten as a snack but were once also served as lunch to school children in Jamaica because they can be very filling.

✅Recipe notes/tips:

1. Yield is about six bullas that are 6" or 7" inches. If you make them smaller you may have to bake for less time.

2. Remember to preheat the oven for at least 15 minutes.

3. The softer your dough the softer your bulla. The more flour added while kneading or rolling the more dense the bulla will be.

4. Bullas are best enjoyed with Jamaican processed cheese, Avocado, Margerine, Butter or with a warm beverage.
