While there are many functional lower body exercises that I utilize in my training week to week, these are my top 5 at the moment.

I use these exercises often because they are movement/movement patterns that I use in my everyday life, they are compound movements that don't just work the prime movers but also work a lot of stabilizers, and they can all be loaded heavy enough to build muscle mass and size. That's my criteria.
