I picked up a mixed 12-pack while visiting Michigan on a beer run. This black beer comes in at 4.5% ABV and poured an opaque, black color, with two fingers of nice khaki head. The nose was subtle, with some roasty malt and a bit of coffee coming through. This was light bodied, which surprised me a bit, but it didn't distract from the quality of the beer. As to taste, this was simple but effective. You got roasty malt, coffee. some light bitterness and that was about it. It was a sessionable, tasty, black beer and I would gladly drink a few (dozen) more!!
