SCENIC Riverside Virtual Treadmill Walk To A Ruined Scottish Castle

This walk starts in the pretty village of East Linton, East Lothian and takes us along the river path for a couple of miles to Hailes Castle. It was a beautiful May morning when I filmed this. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and the butterflies had emerged in their dozens. I really hope you enjoy this walk as much as I did. I didn’t want it to end!

Hailes Castle itself dates back to the 15h century and is now a ruin. It is normally open to the public, but due to a recent deterioration in the stonework, it has become unsafe so sadly I wasn’t able to explore it.
