A Two Day Hike & Wild Camp | Bleaklow | Peak District | Lanshan 2.

Feeling that need to escape into the wilderness for a couple of days, and waiting for the delivery of a new tent, we planned this little adventure for the end of the week.. We looked for the two days with the least worse weather.. not an easy task at the moment is it?! 😵‍💫 The wettest July I can ever remember!
Well, the best option looked like Sunday - Monday, so the plan was set. Delivery of the new tent was delayed and turned up the day before.. so, not having even a practice pitching it, we thought, bugger it, let's just take it and go!
We decided, for our new Lanshan 2's maiden voyage, Bleaklow, being a place we absolutely adore, know very well and feel totally at one with, was where we were heading.
It rained hard all Sunday morning so we hid in the Bulls Head in Old Glossop for a while and came out to glorious sunshine! ☀️

We ended up being blessed with a beautiful evening and a special Bleaklow sunset.. and thanks to many YouTubers reviewing, setting up and showing off their own Lanshan 2's, we managed a great pitch and the tent was amazing. 🙏👌

Wild Camping.. the more you do it.. the more you need to do it! Magical!! ✨⛺✨
