Описание к видео [JR East Tōhoku Direction] Trains along the Tōhoku Main Line/Utsunomiya Line (March-April 2024) [4k]

The Tōhoku Line is one of the five core radials out of Tokyo, heading to the north. As one of the nation's great railway lines, it runs from Tōkyō Station in the south to the far north, with the line formerly extending to Aomori before the opening of the parallel Tōhoku Shinkansen and the subsequent third-sectorization of the Tōhoku Main Line north of Morioka.

In the Tokyo Metropolitan Area, the Tōhoku Main Line forms a six track main line going north towards Saitama, with local service provided by the Keihin-Tōhoku Line on the east side, and long distance trains either using the Shōnan-Shinjuku Line (Yamanote and Tōhoku Freight Lines) on the west side or the Ueno-Tōkyō Line on the east side to reach Tokyo's main activity hubs.

North of Ōmiya, trains on the Takasaki Line split off, with the main line heading to Utsunomoiya and Kuroiso. Between Tōkyō and Kuroiso, the Tōhoku Main Line's official nickname is the Utsunomiya Line.

This video features clips of the Tōhoku Main Line in Tokyo and Saitama prefectures, including clips of Shōnan-Shinjuku Line trains north of Ikebukuro Station. One long clip featuring the Tōbu Urban Park/Noda Line is also featured.

NOTE: Due to limitations with HDR support on Shotcut, my current video editor, some clips were desaturated during load. Some manual workarounds were applied but they will still look a bit off and the transitions leading into them are also suboptimal. I apologize for this but there's not much I can do.
