Base
150g butter
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
Pinch salt
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1 egg

Filling
8 whole eggs
1 tin condensed milk
3 tins water( use the empty condensed milk tin)
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 tablespoon custard powder ( optional)
1 teaspoon of cardomom powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon for sprinkling

Method for base
Beat butter and sugar till creamy
Add oil and vanilla essence
Next add your egg and mix
Add dry ingredients
Mix by hand till dough is formed
Cover with cling wrap for 20 minutes
Remove from fridge
Roll your dough out
Add to Pyrex or oven tray
Refrigerate while making filling

Method for filling
Add all ingredients into bowl accept cinnamon
Beat till combined
Add filling to biscuit base
And bake in preheated oven
180 degrees for
50-60 minutes depending on your oven
First 30 minutes on bottom shelf
Then move to middle shelf and bake for remainder of the time
