The Mazda 787B is one of the most iconic race cars of the Gran Turismo franchise and it has appeared in every major GT game from GT3 to GT7. Here you can see the car in action in each game and also its showcase at the garage or car dealer.

The Mazda 787B was the first Japanese car to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1991 and it was the first Group C car to appear in Gran Turismo, with all the others only being added in GT4.

In Gran Turismo 3 the car is not for sale in simulation mode and can only be won as a prize car. In arcade mode it can be unlocked by completing the last set of tracks on hard difficulty.

From GT4 to GT Sport the car is permanently available at the dealer but the price varies quite a lot, reaching over 5 million credits in GT5.

In Gran Turismo 7 the car will sometimes show up at the legend car dealer.

In GT2 and GT7 the car is featured in One Lap Magic missions against other Mazda cars.
