Recipe below (feeds 2-4)

1-1/2 lbs pork steak, bone-in
1-14.5 oz can sauerkraut
8 cups water
1 medium onion, diced
1 TBSP minced garlic
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
salt n pepper to taste

Old fashioned spoon drop dumplings:
(recipe edited 01/19/2021)

2-1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 egg, slightly beaten
3/4 cups milk (whole or 2%)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
**You can add in onion powder and garlic powder if desired, or omit if using these dumplings in chicken and dumplings**

(you want an elastic-like consistency)
