This is a 3 part tutorial on how to make one of the Czeck Republic's national dishes! Roast Pork with Dumplings and a Sweet and Savory Sauerkraut. This video is part 1 covering the Roast Pork and a Gravy made from the drippings.
Part one
Ingredients for roast pork with pan gravy:
three to four pounds boneless pork shoulder
three cloves minced garlic
One Cup or one medium onion chopped
2 teaspoons ground fennel seed
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
2 teaspoons ground salt
2 cups water
1 1/2 cups liquid from drippings
2 tablespoons flower
A dash of gravy master
salt and pepper to taste
