How to write excellent academic dissertation & essays| Get straight "A"s from now on!

This course is about academic writing. In general, I will talk about the various elements of academic writing and how they can be used in various ways. I will share with you insights and information about the subject in general. And I say in general because there are details for each part of this subject that can be easily developed into full lectures.
By the end of this course, I am confident that it will help students (and new academicians) improve their academic writing skills. I am aiming to simplify some of the complex concepts about the subject. The content should be especially helpful for new higher education students. They will learn how to improve their academic writing process and how to avoid plagiarism.

In all cases, academic writing should be clear, concise, unambiguous and clearly written. It should be well structured, backed up by evidence, and relying on formal tone and style. It shouldn't be perceived as complex writing and should not employ long sophisticated sentences, nor elaborate vocabulary unless of course you are using the technical terminology or jargon of the study field.
The contents of today’s lecture are going to be useful for writing papers, articles, essays, long dissertations (like a master’s or PhD thesis) and academic material in general.
For shorter assignments, may be some parts do not really apply STILL the overall content and approach should be very helpful even for brief assignments and short essays.
