This exercise drill called BOARD ROCKS is super effective at stimulating the balance centers of your brain. This can be done sewed or standing.

You’re going to lock your body into a straight line – like a board – glutes tight, abs pulled in, spine tall, blades pulled down. Gently rock first side to side as if you were in a tube touching each side of the tube. Then gently rock forward and backward as if you’re touching the front and back of the tube.

KEYS for this movement:
- SIDE TO SIDE: use your side abdominal muscles to control your momentum and stop the movement.
- FRONT TO BACK: use your back muscles to stop forward movement and your abdominals to stop backward movement.
- BREATHE SLOW AND STEADY

This is a simple exercise that you can do anywhere (standing in line, talking on the phone, watching TV). You can practice balance training all day.
