RECIPE:Prep Time 20 minutes

Cook time 5 minutes
Churn time 15 to 20 minutes
Ingredients:
2 ¼ cups whipping cream 35 %
1 large egg yolk
¼ Condensed milk
¼ cup graduated Sugar
1/4 Tsp salt
1 Tbsp Vanilla extract
2 Tsp vanilla bean paste
Instructions:
Keep the ice cream bowl and paddle attachment in the freezer for three days
Measure and prepare all the ingredients first to be organized when ready to make the ice cream
Start by making the custard.
In a cold small pot, add all the ingredients reserving the egg yolk
Heat the cream mixture on a very low heat
Temper the egg
Whisk the egg in a heat proof mug
Add a little of the cream mixture into three additions continue whisking in between additions
Whisk until smooth consistency forms
Cook over a low heat for 5 minutes.
Pour it in the cream mixture
Keep stirring
Allow the custard to cook for five minutes while stirring in between cooking time
When finished
Pour it in a sieve over a heat proof mug
Place the bowl in some ice cold water to cool down
Let it cool completely
Cover with a cling wrap
Refrigerate overnight to be chilled
To make the Ice Cream.
Pour the chilled custard in the ice cream machine.
Churn it until it's finished
Place the ice cream in a container
Freeze overnight
Enjoy by scoops
This vanilla ice cream is full of the vanilla flavor
Serve in a cone or a cup and enjoy!
Tips:
On a very hot day the ice cream will melt fast.
Be Careful when tempering the eggs
Cook on a low heat to prevent the custard from burning
Add ⅛ tsp salt if preferred
Add your favorite flavors for different types of ice cream if you don't like vanilla
