Short Description
Phulkopi Dalna is a very popular and delicious bengali vegetarian dish in Bengali Kitchen. This is a wonderfully spiced Bengali cauliflower curry which is enjoyed best in the winter. This super tasty phulkopir dalna goes well with plain rice, fried rice, pulao, roti, parantha, luchi. Do try this recipe at home & enjoy!

Ingredients:

• Cauliflower / Phulkopi / Gobi - No.1 (Big)
• Potatoes - No.2
• Tomato - No.2-3
• Green peas - 1 cup
• Green chilli - No.4
• Cinnamon - No.2
• Cardamom - No.3-4
• Dried red chilli - No.3
• Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
• Bay leaf - No.1
• Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
• Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
• Cumin powder - 1 tsp
• Coriander powder - 1 tsp
• Garlic paste - 1 tsp
• Ginger paste - 1 tsp
• Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
• Salt - to taste
• Oil - 1 tsp
• Ghee - 1 tsp

Method
Heat the pan and add oil to it
Add turmeric powder and sprinkles of salt with cauliflower
Fry the cauliflower nicely till becoming golden brown and keep aside
Add oil and add cinnamon, cardamom, cumin seeds, bay leaf, and dried red chilli; Fry it for 10 sec
Add the potatoes and fry them very well
Prepared paste for gravy with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garlic paste, and ginger
Along with water mixed very well
Add the prepared paste with the fried potatoes
Add sliced tomato, green peas, and green chilli
Saute and close the lid for 10 min in medium flame
Add the fried cauliflower; stir it well
Add water and garam masala powder; Mixed it well
Close the lid for well cooking 5-10 min in medium flame
Put off the gas oven and phul kopir dalna is ready
Serve hot phul kopir dalna with hot steamed rice, roti, paratha or luchi
